After receiving a Digital Film Academy production grant, Gabriel had access to the equipment needed to shoot a film, but not the script, money, or production machine that would normally surround a feature.
The first idea was an action script, but the scale immediately exposed the problem: it wanted a blockbuster budget. The practical answer was to write something leaner, darker, and more contained.
That shift led to Primal Legacy: a feature designed around available actors, reachable locations, and a production plan that could survive real-world limits.
